I’ve loved Apple pie ever since I was a child back home in Southern Illinois. As I traveled the country I began to realize that finding the perfect Apple Pie was very difficult. So I decided to make my own. As I researched the origins of the pie I began to see the mistakes and myths of different recipes and techniques. As time passed, I began to realize there was one universal mistake. Apple Pies were not being made with flavor as a priority. Appearance and shelf life had become the predominant characteristics of an Apple Pie. Flavor took a backseat.

I corrected this mistake and eventually learned how to make the most delicious pie, but what good is it if you can’t share with other people. I wanted to to change the perceptions of what an Apple Pie has become. I’ve been making pies for over 20 years, and for the last 5 years I’ve miniaturized the pie to make it more portable. Since 2018, I have consistently increased the expectations of this time honored treat.

I’m proud to say that I am a black-owned bakery in Harlem, U.S.A. I make one type of dessert in many traditional flavors. From this site you can purchase individual servings of my pies.
